it seems no one in the top tier of running - be it high school, collegiate, or pros - actually runs with the "recommended" 180 bpm cadence.
has anyone else noticed this? i think most run at about 160 or even lower. looking at evan jager's performances causes me to question whether 180 bpm is actually the most efficient way to go about running, or if pros are mostly anamolies in the system.
