Leo Manzano was one of the most exciting "racers" to watch last year in the NCAA. Now a professional runner, many are excited to see if his furious kick will have the same effect as it did in the collegiate ranks. Here Leo talks about racing and how much the mind is a factor over the last lap of a race.

Hopefully Ryan and Mark are still checking this. I just saw a blog with Shannon Rowbury. I wasn't finding an e-mail site. Is it tru that Leo is going to spend time at altitude with John Cooke? Wow look out!!!!!

Why wouldn't he train under Cook. Cook has produced great mid distance results in Donahugh (sp) and Rowbury. And then of course Flanagan. Does he also coach another UNC grad, Alice Schmidt?

Great Video! Leo's killer instinct is something that alot of runners need to work on developing.
