Nice coverage by flotrack.
Way better shots for the women's race than the men's this year.
The fans were out a lot more than that quiet morning 3 years ago when Ryan Hall had his amazing run

Burla has really bad overpronation, hurts just watching her run, faster than she looks that for sure! Good job Burla and Shalane!

she is obviously thinner because all the mileage she is doing on jerry's group

ELVA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yay!! 2 years ago

1) CONGRATS SHALANE!!! So exciting to FINALLY see her move up in distance and still dominate!

2) What amazing coverage, Flotrack!! Thank you thank you thank you - seriously Flotrack could not possibly rule anymore!!
3) Is it just me or is Serena a SEVERE over-pronater?? Ouch - makes my shins burn just watching her run. Hard to believe she's so effective with that gait - wonder what she could do with cleaner form...

was it just me or did Shalane's face look more thin than before?

I picked Serena Burla to win. She ran 1:10.08. Shalane Flanagan won with 1:09.41, just 27 seconds in front. Nearly a minute to 3rd place. Great race Serena. Becoming a mom does that to you. Welcome back!
