I am Jamaican and I have always liked you. I saw how you handled your difficult situation in Athens. You exhibited great inner strength, being able to bear the fact that your father was ill and still do your best on the track. This
proves to me that you can, with God's help accomplish anything you are determined to. Do not let hurt cause you to say things you will regret and tarnish your lovely personality. Your day will come. You have people in Jamaica who love you and appreciate, in spite of all, how you stood by us regarding suggestions that our athletes were on drugs.
I hear that a few of the American athletes are coming to Jamaica to train. Why don't you come for a while and enjoy some of our Caribbean hospitality, and bathe in our beautiful waters. Take Shawn Crawford along with you. I have always liked him too. Like Tyson Gay, he is one of the gentlemen of the track. I am sure Usain and Shelly-Ann will take you all to the QUAD nightclub and teach you the dance 'nuh linga'. Get to know Shelly-Ann, although you are competitors on the track, you will find that she is a sweetie pie. Do you know that Tyson Gay and Veronica Campbell are good friends. He was at her wedding.
