shes right shes kind of the stepchild of the superelite us middle distance women. i didnt know she had run under 4 or i forgot. but the good way to change that is to beat people. its good that she didnt take the lead even if she didnt place that high at least she tried something different. it seemed like in every race i saaw she would push the middle 800 and then get burned in the last 400. i think lots of peole were waiting for that this time too.

its a little depressing to hear these elite athletes talking about how they arent that good and are worried about what people think etc when they are watching. if i was that good noone would be able to tell me anything- maybe its good im not elite haha. stay positive and im sure family and friends are supportive and who cares what anyone else thinks. just do the best you are capable of each race.

Christin has a really nice outlook on the sport. One of my favorite runners in America and the world. I love watching her grit and grind through races. Eventhough she doesn't have the turnover of some other girls she has more heart than the rest of the fields she's up against. True passion

The people who really know and follow the sport recognize her ability. Certainly, Shannon, Anna and Jenny know how talented she is.

Feels as though in all her interviews she is always questioning why she is not embraced by the track fans. Her smile is peppy and genuine, and I appreciate her honesty but as her fan I cannot help but feel the tension and frustration under that smile when she gets interviewed about racing and running. Christin give yourself a break already you have made it! Once you relax then other people will gravitate toward you more.

You are so right Christin. And running in the big scheme of things will just be a part of your full well-rounded life. I am sorry you felt so much pressure and criticism. Like your new attitude. Enjoy it cuz you are leaving your dream. And keep smiling!
