Original Airdate 6/25/2009 - One year ago, Lauren Fleshman was just back on the comeback trail during USA's ad Mark spoke with her about it. Exactly a year later she kicked away from the field to win the US 5k title to show everyone she is back. It is a great interview to watch now seeing how far she has come in 365 short days.

jeez, its crazy to see where she came from to now in one year. One year ago Jenny B was running 3:59 and setting American Steeple Records and Lauren didnt even run USAs, now she outkicked the field (including JB) at USAs, great to see she is back in good company.

PS no dig on Jenny, love her too, just pointing out how far LF has come.

"usas was never going to be my all star shining comeback moment" haha just one year later. one of the best things about flotrack interviews is seeing people who keep persevering through the not so great times and get rewarded for it down the line. i vaguely remember fleshy from dyestat? back in the day btw.
