A quick look at our ride over to the track and the warmup area at the 2010 Monaco Diamond League Meeting. It was a great meet and Monaco is one of the best places in the world to be with the beaches, great weather, and beautiful views!

There really are a lot of parallels between Wheating now and when Bolt erupted on the scene in 2008. Both are physically huge amongst their competitors. Probably the tallest in history in their respective events to run at that level. Both appear to really enjoy what they are doing, before during and after the event. Both love to celabrate after a good performance (not partying but getting visibly excited for the fans, something that the crowd can get into). Both seem very green, with the possibility of more substantial PRs to come. Both can balance goofing around before and after an event, but go straight into game mode and execute perfectly and consistently whenever the gun goes up.

Side note regarding the BB shorts. I think Andy just likes those things. He usually wore the same thing as a Duck (albeit Duck BB shorts) when most guys had the duck tights on.
Ryan, great vid. This is very cool for those who don't know how these meets really work and what goes on behind the scenes.

Did you see me in the front of the bus talking to the ladies? Monaco was too distracting for me hence the 1:43. Don't worry I'll conquer Rudisha soon enough.

anyone else think Ryan and Flotrack could be the key to popularizing track in the US? Let's out him on NBC and see what happens...these videos are great and Ryan has a natural rapport with the athletes and they seem to relate easily relate to him.

Haha I love how everyone is all decked out in their warm-up tights and gear and Wheating is just repping the bball shorts and having a good time. Gotta love em.
