Leo Manzano experienced much success before his professional career even began. As a freshman at Texas Manzano was the NCAA Outdoor 1500 meter champ, a title he won again both indoors and outdoors. He also made the World Championship Team in 2007 and again represented the US in the 2008 Olympics. In his first year as a pro Leo for the third consecutive year made the US Team for 1500 meters and made the finals in Berlin. He set PRs of 3:33 and 3:53 in 2009. Most recently a couple weeks ago set his best 800 mark of 1:45.1. Get to know one of the best in the US and in the World, Leo Manzano.

i have no interest in learning about someone that ran 1:56/57 in 8th grade.honestly...its pretty beast if you can run that in 8th grade, and im pretty sure the only reason you posted that comment is becuz u think he lied about it....its rare for 8th graders to break 2 min but ive seen it done before quite a few times so shut ur yapps |

Being from south Texas and in class 4A in high school, Manzano was the first big name I had ever heard of and pretty much got me into running. Thanks Leo! |

Why would you not be interested in hearing about a guy who took that kind of talent from such a young age and turned it into an immensely successful high school, collegiate, and pro career? |

Leo is my hero. ;) I've always loved watching him race since college. He's an honest racer, isn't afraid to run out front and holds them off well. He's simply amzing. |
