Chris Thompson of the UK for Payton Jordan

Chris Thompson of Great Britain made huge strides in his career during the 2010 season. Chris Thompson set a big PB running 27:29 at the 2010 Stanford Payton Jordan Invite and currently sits #4 all-time for Great Britain. Later on last summer Thompson went on to set a 13 second PB at 5000 meters running 13:11 and then followed it up with a silver medal at the 2010 European Championships in Barcelona. In this interview Chris Thompson talks about how things have changed coming into the 2011 Outdoor season and how he deals with the expectations and pressures. On Sunday at the 2011 Payton Jordan Invite, Chris Thompson will attempt to break the UK national 10k record. Thompson will have to run under 27:20 (the pace Chris Solinsky will be setting for the field)!
