Aisling Cuffe - A New Era at Stanford?

The Stanford women's cross country team begins its season with the most prized recruit of 2011 on its roster. Aisling Cuffe, the Foot Locker and USATF Junior XC Champion, capped a great senior year by running the national two mile record of 9:54.22. In this interview she discusses her initial impressions of the transition to college life and running. This past weekend Cuffe finished second at the Stanford XC Invite, five seconds behind teammate Kathy Kroeger as the Stanford won the meet with a low scoring 24 points. Race highlights here
