Actually it makes sense. That is why you have different records(i.e.-World Record, Olympic Record, American Record, European Record, etc.) Someone who has a Gold Medal in an Olympic Event, may not have the World Record. So therefore should they only be considered a 2nd or 3rd place winner on the world stage(depending upon the time)? |

What a stupid, non-productive comment to make-- "is this guy "smart or a total airhead?" He just ran 1:03-- doesn't matter if he is smart or an airhead... he's fast-- and maybe a bit tired. You run 1:03 for 13.1 miles-- let's see how much "energy" you have. His content was well thoughtout and methodical-- unlike yours. |
