Hope you pull everything together these next few races to showcase what you are really capable of! I will try to follow the results. Best of luck in this olympic year!

I'm currently based in Victoria, BC. I've been struggling a bit since getting here with my achilles (alluded to in the video) and allergies (not sure if it's pollen or what). I've had impressive shortness of breath issues while out on regular/easy runs. Running easy w/ the GPS and seeing my pace being SLOWER than it would be while climbing the mountains in Boulder has been a bit alarming. Alas, I'm schedule to possibly compete in a Steeple on Tuesday night, a 1500 the following day (Vic Track Classic, I believe) and then another 1500 on Saturday. I'm confident in my fitness, just hoping the elements and achilles allow it to manifest itself. As far as bumping up, I'd probably start venturing that way this fall. A few road 10K's and/or half marathons and even a potential marathon debut. Thanks for watching and asking questions!

Could you provide some info as to what meets and when? I think you are in great shape and should have no problem punching that ticket. Any idea when you are bumping up in distance?

Ha, cheers for that! IIIIIIF that's all it required to get to London, I'd be set :)

Song = Daylight by Olympic Ayres (the credits scrolled too quickly to see)
@Hope you make it to London - I'm shooting for the 1500, although my trainer (Paul Hamblyn) and advisor/mentor (Lorraine Moller) reckon I'll go better at the longer distances (eventually marathon) as I handle long runs and volume quite well at elevation. I haven't raced many/any 1500's in ageees, so PB is outdated, but yeah I/we reckon I can go heaps quicker than the 4min mark. I've run 4:01/02 road mile if that's any indication. Real keen to give the 3:40's then 3:30's (3:38.00) a scare though. Ankle/achilles is still bothersome, so we shall see... Thanks to all for watching, truly appreciate the support. Wish more runners (regardless of ability) were more open to sharing their workouts/journeys. At the end of the day we're all doing it for the pure love of running (regardless of Olympic aspirations or wanting to break 20mins in the 5k).

Roberto what are your PRs and what will you be going for in the Olympics? All I found for you PRs was a 4:00 1500 which must be old because you just ran that fast in a workout at altitude.
