German Fernandez Back on track after first round at 2012 NCAA D1 West Prelim

After a difficult 2011 outdoor season German Fernandez looks to be moving in the right direction. German finished second in the 1500 at the Big 12 Outdoor Championships and looks to have started regaining form and confidence of the past. Fernandez finished first in a very close preliminary round that saw six guys within .25 seconds of each other. Is this the dramatic return of the German Fernandez of 2009 that saw so much success? Catch him in action again on Saturday night to see if he punches his ticket to Des Moines.
