Colorado's Fort Collins and Monarch friendly in-state rivalry

The Colorado team title is intense. Fort Collins won the girls's state title two years in a row, but Monarch won last year. Even though they're each other's main competition, they're close friends. The rivalry isn't traditional, but it does raise the competition in the state. Both Fort Collins and Monarch have learned a lot from their victories and losses and look to grow based on those results.
