null

A few years ago the name Shalaya Kipp would have been unknown virtually everyone. In a short amount of time coach Mark Wetmore has helped bring the 5:02 high school miler up as an NCAA Champion and US Olympian. Wetmore recalls her high school days when they recruited her and key points along the way that gave a glimpse at her potential. Kipp, the redshirt junior who started the season late due to the Olympic Games, is now rounding into form at the right time. She finished 2nd this past Friday at the Mountain Region and will look to garner her third consecutive NCAA All-American honors (40th as a frosh, 19th as a soph).
