This is what the sport needs. Some real athletes that are willing to put on the line without the need to be pretentious and represent the raw nature of what it is that we're all after. He speaks for all that are hungry and real. No act, no fake interviews and definitely no politically correct semantics. He made those that made the team earn it with the exception of the cheater that needs not be mentioned.... that....he does need to be mentioned....LAGAT. Just because they swept it under the rug doesn't mean that we forget the truth. "A sodlier dies but ones, but a coward dies a thousand deaths!"
I love the way this guy represents the true essence of the sport. Keep them honest bro....

this is for anonymous coward: you don't even follow the f-ing sport if you don't know who about asmerom. it's better you stay anonymous so you don't embarrass yourself. this is elite competition, guy. and Bolota Asmerom is among our Country's best. He just proved that he is capable of hanging with Teg, Solinsky, Dobson, and Lagat.
So, to answer your question "Who the hell is Bolota Asmerom?"
ans: He's a world class runner who's got balls twice the size of yours. He's got more heart than you, and is faster than you'll ever be.
