Andrea Geubelle huge jump to put 2012 behind her at 2013 Armory Invite

Andrea Geubelle of Kansas had a huge jump of nearly 22 feet in the long jump this past weekend and now looks to her best event, triple jump, where she hopes to set American Records. In 2012 Geubelle won the NCAA Indoor triple jump, was All-American in both the long and triple jumps during the Outdoor championships and was third at the US Olympic Trials...oh and she also set Kansas and Big 12 records in the TJ. Sounds good right? Well Andrea wasn't content. She was stripped of an NCAA outdoor title after a protest (see her reaction in the background of this video) and missed a spot on the Olympic team because she did not have the qualifying standard. This year Geubelle is even more focused and looking to make the next big jump in her career.
