Eric Jenkins ran 7:46.21 for 3000 meters at the NCAA Championships. The mark would have been the third fastest all-time for an American (if you don't count Ryan Hill's oversized 7:43.08) and ninth fastest individual in collegiate history. However, Jenkins was DQed and the time has been erased. Will that stop Jenkins? Absolutely not. Now Jenkins knows his ability and see an NCAA title in his sites. This weekend he will look for another breakthrough when he steps to the line with some of the nation's best in the 5000 meters at the Payton Jordan Invitational at Stanford. Tune in this Sunday, live on Flotrack, to follow Jenkins begin his outdoor quest. - Watch full Jenkins post-workout interview HERE - Watch Jenkins relive his indoor DQ and thoughts on Centro Workout: 1600x2, 800x2, 400x4, 800x2 400 Paces: 1600m - 65, 800m - 63, 400m - 61 Rest: 3:30 after 1600s, 2:00 after 800s, 1:15 after 400s Times: Eric --> 4:18, 4:18, 2:07, 2:05, 61, 61, 61, 61, 2:04, 2:03 Group --> 4:32, 4:32, 2:13, 2:12, 64, 64, 64, 64, 2:10, 2:10
