Evan Jager gears up for USAs after nearly missing his own AR in Steeple

The American Record holder in the 3k steeplechase talks about his growth in the event he has only be racing in for just over a year. Jager realizes there are still areas of improvement that he needs to zone in on in order to put together a complete race. Although he is the favorite for US Champs, nothing is for sure and the Illinois native understands he needs to take everything one step at a time. Training in Mammoth Lakes, CA at altitude with his coach Jerry Shumacher and teammates is just one of those steps.
