null

You know that scene in a movie, where the main character is driving away from his or her hometown and is usually about to start a new chapter in life? But as fate would have it, this character always seems to leave some sort of unresolved issue behind. Before he or she gets too far out of town, this person has a change of heart and heads back to finish what needs to be done. Some may walk out of the theatre because these stories never happen in real life, right? But it's not all make-believe and plot devices. After finishing fourth at the 2012 Olympic Trials and watching the London Olympics from home, Ashley Higginson realized that dreams, unlike law school, should never be deferred. Higginson returned to New Jersey with a "new mindset and a new dedication to the sport." The goal - to make the 2013 World Championship team. Higginson shares her Strongest Moment from the 2013 U.S. Championships, where she sought to erase the memory from the year prior and finish among the top three in the women's 3000m steeplechase. Hear Higginson's emotional story about fulfilling a dream that was more than a year in the making.
