A lot of people think that Molly Huddle's Saucony Strongest Moment was her 5k American record (14:44.76). It's not. It's a race where she just went for it. In her preliminary heat of the 5k at the 2012 Olympics, Huddle full of emotions. Nervous during strides, carefree as the gun went off, and confident when she took the lead at the Olympic Stadium with 2k left in the race. If Huddle was going to get eliminated from the 2012 Olympics, that's the way she wanted to bow out. Though she was taking a risk for towing the field, Huddle hung on to finish fifth and grab the final auto-qualifier spot with a season's best of 15:02.26. Now making the final isn't the goal. It's expected. Huddle's Saucony Strongest Moment showed her that "just by wanting to win, you can make your body do things that it can't do."
