Jenny Simpson miscounts laps still almost takes American 2 Mile Record at 2014 New Balance GP

Whoops! To be fair, 16 laps is a lot to count, especially when you have a silver medalist right next to you. When the bell was about to ring, Simpson made her move to the front. She then stopped, realized her mistake, and finished. Even with all the confusion, she still almost broke the American record.
