Andrew Bumbalough calls for transparency in the sport and tries to explain his DQ

Confused, chaotic, and disappointed. That's how we'd characterize Andrew Bumbalough's U.S. Indoor T&F Championship experience. Although Bumbalough lead for the majority of the men's 3k and initially was credited with an eighth place finish (8:12.90), he was later disqualified for "interference." Flotrack believes that the ruling was and is incorrect. Now back in Portland, OR, Bumbalough tries to rationalize why his finishing time was erased. However, the bigger issue at hand, which Bumbalough addresses, is the lack of transparency from USATF regarding appeals and rulings. The integrity of the sport must be upheld.
