Women's 10K H01 (Flanagan v Burka to the line!)

Bowerman TC's Shalane Flanagan and Ethiopia's Gelete Burka went head-to-head over 25 laps in a classic distance duel on Friday night at Stanford. Burka would ultimately have too much speed over the last lap, taking the win in 31:08.16 over Flanagan's 31:09.02. In the race behind these two, Kaitlin Goodman came up HUGE with a massive PB of 32:09.82 to place 3rd. Her 5k best before Friday night was 16:09, so her performance at Stanford was not only incredible, it was downright unbelievable.
