Robby Andrews faced a loaded field in the 1500m at the Portland Summer Twilight, and he grabbed the IAAF "A" standard by running 3:35.82 on Thursday night to officially punch his ticket to the World Championships in Beijing. Former Oregon Duck Colby Alexander was 2nd in a new PB of 3:36.49, with Brooks Beast Riley Masters 3rd in 3:36.56, also a PB. Oregon's Edward Cheserek was 4th in 3:37.08.
