Gear Geek: Under Armour Charged Bandit

Under Armour Charged Bandit: 10.3oz Men's 8.6oz Women's The Charged Bandit is the latest addition with the right amount of tech and the required essentials to make a long mileage shoe. Known for its disruptive technology in sports wear, Under Armour introduces, in my opinion, the first practically designed product to its footwear line. Balancing Under Amour tech (Charged Foam, ArmourVent, Micro G Foam) with conventional structure, this running shoe feels like a well designed training shoe.  The Bandit’s midsole is built with dual density foam and small plastic medial support providing guidance to the foot. Not enough to call this a stability shoe, a foot with slight over pronation will appreciate the feel. The transition from heel-toe is smooth. The forefoot has a good response with cushioning. The pliable upper is accommodating to the foot shape. The seamless rubber overlays work well with the padded liner to hold the foot back into the shoe, and manage to not have the crunchy stiff feel. Under Armour is still working through designs that catch the running industry's attention. Each shoe has some unique characteristics that you can’t help but enjoy. I encourage athletes to give the shoe a try, you don’t know until it's on your foot. With UA's new strategy of Run Fast, Run Strong, and Run Long. With this concept, the brand is a design away from stealing some major market share.
