Great guy who looks like he's got the keys and knowledge to be a factor on the roads and track, not to mention the XC courses. Best of luck Scott. |

Great interview. I hope the younger guys take stock in what he says, i.e. don't hammer your workouts, stay within your limits and build, build, build. |

How can you think he is a douche based on this? He doesnt talk sh*t on anyone, just talks realistically about how he should go about completing his goals. |

Wow, way for some of you guys to come off as morons. I would love to see some of you guys in front of a camera talking about how hard it is to try and break 15 min for the 5K. If the quality of your writing is any indication of your intelligence then you will probably come off as complete idiots. Here is a guy who is making the commitment to improve, putting up quality times and giving something back to the sport and all you guys want to do rag on his hair and laid back style. He already has a top ½ marathon time and made a national team. I think he is already pushing the elite American level with these performances. And he still has 2 track and 1 cross season to go in COLLEGE. |

he's either got great insite, or has / had great coaching, because for a college guy, he understands the big picture very well. Previous comment is right on, even if you're a 10k guy, you've got to be able to run a fast 1500, Bekele, etc. Good luck Bauhs, keep the long view!! |
