Molly Seidel ran 15:15.21 to capture the 2016 NCAA women’s 5k, the third-fastest time in NCAA history. The victory marked the Notre Dame senior’s third straight NCAA title, though Michigan’s Erin Finn stayed close on her heels through the first 2 miles of competition. Finn finished second in 15:23.16, the No. 9 all-time mark in the NCAA.
