On a cold, wet, blustery day, where the high temp was reached at 8 a.m., the South Regional XC meet took place. In the women's race, it was Auburn's Hollie Knight taking first place with a course record of 20:29.67. UT's Sarah Bowman took second with 20:50.29 and FSU's Susan Kuijken taking third with 21:05.74. FSU took the team title with 41 ponts followed by Flordia with 64 and UT-Knoxville with 116.
By the time the men's race rolled around, the sun had come out and the rain had cleared out. Auburn took 1-2-3 but yet still lost to Alabama 49-59. FSU rounded out the top 3 with 66 points. It was Auburn's Felix Kibioywo taking first in the time of 30:45.91
