National Long Distance Meet

The National Long Distance Meet in Tokyo's National Stadium, a series of 19 heats of 10000 m for university and professional men and 1 heat of 5000 m for university women. Sponsored by Konica Minolta. Despite the name this wasn't really a public meet, more a series of time trials for the pros and university students who will be running in the New Year and Hakone Ekidens the first few days of January. It wasn't advertised to the public, and for the most part the only people there were affiliated with the teams which were running.
