2009 Publix Super Markets Gasparilla Distance Classic 15K

This was my 27th consecutive year running the GDC and the organization was fine. (I still remember the "good old days" when the 15k was THE event of the week-end and the beer trucks greeted us with the flowing beverage, gratuitously at the finish line.)
However, I have asked for many years (falling on deaf ears) to have some sort of signage, traffic flow controls, etc. at the water stations, as oblivious runners slam on the brakes to take the water, causing rear end collisions and thereby risking unnecessary injuries. So, perhaps signs instructing runners to "pull off the road" or "do not stop" would once again be considered. Thank you.
