The 2009 Boston Marathon is set to be the most exiting Boston Marathon for over 20 years. For the first time in over 25 years both the Men and the Women races could be won by an American. Not since Greg Meyer's victory in the 1983 Boston Marathon has an American male won the most famous marathon in the world and it has been 24 years since lisa Larson-Weidenbah won the 1985 Boston Marathon. #30	Darren Peters April 21 at 12:05am Theses were two impressive performances worthy of praise and attention. These two amazing athletes have shifted the way Americans think of distance running. The sport is no longer dominated by Kenya and Ethiopia; USA is now in the picture. reply
