Gharib deserved to lose that, bastard kept swinging in to cut Ivuti off. Not a very honest tactic, regardless of legality. I have little to no respect for an athlete who has to do crap like that in order to win.

Chicago Marathon - Men`s Finish

The Men’s finish was arguably the most memorable in the entire history of the event, pitting Patrick Ivuti of Kenya against Jaouad Gharib of Morocco. Coming down the final 600 meter stretch, Gharib held a 15 meter lead, that steadily dissolved in the mad sprint to the finish. At the tape it was Ivuti, literally leaning in for the win. Both runners received the same finishing time, but with further review it was determined that Ivuti was victorious by five hundredths of a second.
