I thought the interview was only OK until the last few seconds (No offense Mark, it's hard to pull something special out of someone in this frenzied environment)
I did appreciate the "have you dreamt about the race?" Question and enjoyed that little spark Dathan gave as he responded. However the real brilliance of the interview was getting his comment on fatherhood...haven't heard that response before but is bang-on how I felt too. 5 seconds later and he would have been cut off mid sentence by the "handler" swooping in. Glad you got it in.

Agreed. Huge talent...and maybe some of the difficulties that he's overcome have made him stronger.

I want to see the eyes of the kid who won foot locker two times in a row...If he brings that, this field is toast.
