Sand Routine

Uploaded By: Flotrack
Sand Routine - This is a simple preventive routine designed to both improve strength in the foot, ankle and lower leg, but also to help prevent injury in those areas. While there is no guarantee that you'll never have a plantar fasica problem if you do this routine, one can only assume that the risk of that specific injury decreases after several weeks of this work. This is the simplest preventive routine in the video and to be totally honest we saved the best preventive exercises for the DVD...but this one's good too....but definitely not as cool (or helpful?) as the exercises in the DVD. Also, all of these exercises come from the world of physical therapists and athletic trainers, yet very few runners are taking those elements and implementing them in their daily training regimen. "An once of prevention is worth a pound of cure." The exercises in this DVD are the simplest, easiest exercises that you can do to improve your running. Many of the exercises here are intended to prevent injury while others are intended to improve your general strength. In the next DVD we'll move towards exercises that develop power but in the mean time sit back, watch the videos and ask yourself, "How can I become a better runner?"
