Maybe because she is just proud to be an american and wants to show it.
I think that it is funny and cool.

Not many people are comfortable walking around looking like a 57' Cadillac but she managed very well! (All in fun Jordan)

With the exception of Alex Gits from Stanford Jordan was on cruise control for most of the race. When she gats that much of a breather through the first 3k, there aren't many who can stay with her for that last "power" mile. She really looked well rested and calm through the whole series of laps!

I've seen the conditions some of these interviewers work under. Sometimes they're put in a spot where they really can't even see the race that well, and then they're given the athletes to interview just moments after the race when no one has really been able to collect his or her wits. But...you're getting quick interviews on video with all the top competitors. Why is anyone complaining?

Just to let you know, all of the top 10 finishers had to leave the awards ceremony immediately to go fill out paperwork for worlds, so all of the athletes interviewed were in a rush to either get drug tested or paperwork filled out. There were USATF representatives standing by all of the top 10 athletes trying to corral them from one place to another.

Great job to her and the interviewer. F Off whoever says these suck. Its hard to just come up with questions off the top of your head like that. If you haven't done I suggest you try and see how well you do. Or maybe you should upload something to flotrack and give a little back considering how much this organization has given to us. Keep up the good work to whoever does the big stuff and whoever does the user uploads, this is just what mark wants. See results and be able to watch the race. Main Stream isn't going take care of this so we have to ourselves. Plus alot of the guys that do these videos aren't communications majors they are just fans of the sports who are trying to make a difference for us. So shut the Hell up you jackass

Just Awesome   February 17, 2008 at 12:32pm
Git to love it. I mean this is great stuff that was not around a year ago. How deep can you go after a race? Do you think Jordan wants to go through her training, her philosophy, what she ate last night. They are quick interviews and I love them. Nice Job David and Garrett!
Keep the bashing at Letsrun.

learn more about their subjects? there are a lot of athletes they are trying to get to and interview, it's awfully tough to be very thorough and prepared for end of the race interviews like that. They do a good job for people who are not professionals at this...

you do know that Mark isn't the one interviewing?!?! And you know what if you are trying to give constructive criticism you aren't doing a very good job. if you are just trying to be an ass you're doing a great job.

how many times can you use the word awesome when interviewing someone.
wish these guys would learn a bit more about their subjects before interviewing them so all the interviews don't sound the same.
"how did it go out there?"
"how did you feel?"
"what are your plans?"
we all appreciate the effort, but there is major room for improvement after 2 years of interviews.
