Strong work. Best of luck PR'ing in Boston: normally that's an oxymoron but the trials course is flatish and there should be great support. If drawing upon the great running history of Boston is not enough to inspire you Megan, you can draw upon the great medical & research history so nearby too!

No, 2:48:00 is 2:22:01 for a man (according to the Mercier calculator), so the men's standard is softer (and actually the women's standard is now 2:47:00).

Hardcore! Hope I get to meet Megan at the Trials!!

Megan Daly is doing her residency in radiation oncology at Stanford University. She took up marathoning as an undergraduate at Stanford and earned her trials qualifier at the 2006 Chicago Marathon. In this interview she talks about staying motivated while working 12-14 hours a day and the role running plays in her life as a medical doctor. Megan Daly runs for the Impalas Racing Team.
