I will have to completely agree with everyone here, this is a wonderful young man, with excellent abilities at running.

Kenya better take him because he will follow the suit of those other kenyans who defect to other rich arab nations for a chance to compete. Take a look at Sahine (fomerly Cherono) broke world record in steeple chase after he defected to Qatar, the likes of Wilson Kipketer, he was frustrated by the kenyan people then defected to Denmark. The bad thing is that Kenya doesn't seem to learn from these incidences. It is sad to make the Auto standard times and nobody is willing to put you in the team just because you are a sprinter in a distance running dorminated country! Damn! This has to be hard on this kid! We'll take him here in Canada......we would have a killer 4*100m team!

Kenya should definitely take him....he sounds like he'd be a great example for his country...and besides then they could boast that they have not only distance runners, but also some great sprinters as well

Paul is a great guy and i really love seeing him compete. I heard he got had to leave the military institute for some reason or another, and last year he didnt get to compete because he didnt sit out the amount of time he was supposed to, and he cant compete in the olys for his country. wow rough life i hope he does well out of college

Even his bad race seemed like he was flying. It really is awful that Kenya won't take him, it just does not seem fair.

This isn't the first kenyan sprinter I have heard of lately.. I think that Butler Community College has a guy that splits 45 on the 4x4

That sucks to get the standard and not have your country take you.. I understand it though, (politics and money) you gotta feel for this guy, he is getting shafted and you know he catches a bunch of crap for being a sprinter from kenya...

WOW! It is interesting that Kenya wont take him. I don't really understand why they won't take him. He sounds like a great guy too.
