Listen my son is on this team your referring to and they work hard as hell to get what they have accomplished. All this nonsense about ages beat them on the track. Akinto is gone and they won Nat'l again this year so what?

Akinto boone is not able to run for "newburgh" the h.s. he only competes under "newburgh elite" the club team...reason being that he is a 5th year student in newburgh h.s. and you can only conpete hs track for 4 years

Newburgh also set a Newyork state outdoor meet record of 3:15 during that year. with out Akinto, using two seniors and two sopre. Both Soph went 47. during the outdoor season. I bet you will see a indoor state recordfrom them in the 4x400 this year. By the end of indoor both of those guy's will split 47. and they will also have a 48. with a 49. leadoff. The only team nationaly that can touch them is Newbern out of NC.

At the new york state meet newburgh ran 3:24-26 i can't remember in the 4x400 and lost. Then they come to nationals a week later and run 3:18? Yes the armory is a better track then cornell but some on. They could not use Akinto Boone and that's also why they go to meets outside of New York State is because all the meets in NYS are sanctioned and Akinto Boone can't run. They did the same thing at Outdoor State Meet. They used 2 legal seniors and 2 legal sopres and then at Nationals put Akinto Boone on the relay. Seems fishy to me....

Well i dont know anything about these guys or their school but if i'm not mistaken you're not eligible to run if you are 18 and older unless you turn 18 while still in your senior year of high school. Iv'e seen a lot of comments on how old these guys are and if it's true it's definitely not fair to the other runners.

Wow guys, what are we talking about here? first of all boone turned just turned 19 and Locklary and is only 16 and both mountain and cooper are 18 lets keep facts straigth and not hate. If you had did your home work you would have know these things. Lets not take away someones victory just because no one beat them on the track and as matter of fact if you had look at the entries you would of also known that they had to sophomores on their 4x400m relay that ran 3:18 in the trails,
