As much as I want to see Adam in the 10K, I'm wondering how exactly he's gotten himself into the 10K, considering his 10K time is about 20 seconds slower than the slowest qualifier, according to USATF's entry list. The way he said "I believe so", in response to being asked if he'd be in the 10K, he sounded like he had an ace up his sleeve. Conections??? I have no idea how he's getting to run the 10 but he really does need to be in the 10 so I'm happy, even if some strings are being pulled to get him into the race.

This year (and probably from now on) the USATF is requiring the athletes to have the Olympic A standard by the end of the final race. Thats why Amy Begley has to kick hard at the end to grab the 10k A standard and be able to go to Beijing.

Is it true that he needs to run the A Standard in the finals as well as get top 3 since he doesnt have an A Standard, or can he chase it in Europe after the trials if he could get a top 3 finish.

Adam this will probably be your last chance to get to the olympics so go out and give it your all- prove your worth and train your mind to win!
