KD inadvertently interfered with Lomong at the line. Lomong had a legitimate beef. He may very well have nabbed 3rd otherwise

"no i'll probably be crying a little bit later." This statement meant alot to me as fan, it shows just how much he cares. What a great guy KD is. He's so dedicated to the sport, as you can tell by him talking about working a full time job to support his family and still finding enough time to train so hard. It's really too bad that he couldn't make the team this year, but I know next track season he will be right back to representing the US with dignity.

KD is a agreat guy, too bad he bought into Gray's "balls out" approach. 24.1 for the first 200 set him up to fail against such a strong field.

Good luck with whatever he decides to do next.

KD is a class act. I really hope he has the good fortune to train and take care of his family to make the team in 2012 at the 800 or the 1500.

Get this man a full time frickin contract! I cannot believe this! He has been a class act and at the top of the mountain for a long time, that is BS. Maybe who chooses to have the full time job? I don't know, but if it he has to, man. The man deserves more.

I didn't see the race...sounds epic.
I would love to see this "push" at the finish with my own eyes so I could put KD's high road philosophic comments in perspective.

Great guy. I hope he stays with track and compeats for acouple more years and gives it another shot. It would be nice to see such an insprational and hard working guy like this, get a better sponsership from nike so that he dosent have to work full time to support his family. My prayers are with him and I wish him the best of luck with what ever he dose in the future.

he's referring to lopez lomong at the beginning of the interview. apparently lopez was pushed by KD as he was falling and he was not happy about it after the race. they said a little bit more about it in the Day 4 recap video if you wanna check it out.

What a stand up guy, hopefully he can figure it out and he can stick it out for 4 more years. He ran a hell of a race, did what he had to do but he came up short, too bad he had to lead the whole thing and get out kicked buy someone who never does any work.....

What an outstanding interview--especially with an athlete who just dedicated his waking hours for years, only to finish in the most disappointing spot possible. If you haven't checked out Khadevis Robinson's Flotrack blog, go there now. It's insightful.

My support and prayers are with this guy now as he faces still bigger challenges off the track.

I've loved KD since he was competing for TCU. Stellar competitor, was pulling for him all the way through, if only 4 could have made it, as he is a great person to represent the sport and the US.

Man,Are you kidding me? This guy is the real deal.He came in 4th and can still remain humble. His attitude is what we all need to take a page from. He's thinking about his son and wife. He's hurting on the inside no doubt,it's hard to see it.If he had the right kind of sponsorship, not just wearing a nike uniform he probably could have trained better, travel to more quality races, not have to work full-time to support his family.I love him.I always will.
