Running is about being faithful with the gifts I've been given; & not about the result. Lord this is my gift to you. I did the best I can with all aspects of training. I did my best.

She definitely needs to run more 5ks and even 10k. If she wants to be more successful that's where she'd fit in better. I could see her being as good or better than Shalane Flanagan.....

you should of taken it...don't expect everyone else to do your work. I get so sick of runners like this that just think they should sit on everyone and wait to kick. You didn't even try to make the team so stop crying about it!

From the North Bay League to the Olympic Trials...wow. We've followed you the whole way and wish you the best of luck in the future. We are proud to see the running star from Montgomery High make it so far and we are confident you will continue to have success!!

Sara has such a great attitude, even when she doesn't get the race results she wants! It's too bad she didn't have the energy in this race to move up and help Lindsey Gallo push the pace, but how awesome for her to do her best and then not get down on herself even though the result was disappointing.

So eloquent and what a positive attitude. All other runners who didn't make the team should take a page from her book and have this great outlook. I feel for Sara and I really hope she makes the team in 2012. I think she should move up in distance to the 5k/10k or even take a crack at the marathon!

Great job Sara! I hope fast times come this summer!

Best interview of the trials. Raw emotion. Still managed to speak exceedingly eloquently. Way to go Sara. Fast times will come.
