The 800m is the best race there is!!!According to me and its no joke, and you have to be fast, and I love that race. Nick Symmonds is the greatest right now for winning the 2008 Olympic time trial. If someone knows a place I can order a t-shirt with his name on it shoot me an e-mail at .

Symmonds is the man. I really hope that he will make the finals and come home with the gold. I truly believe he has a great shot at the gold.

Why do you people talk trash about Track & Field athletes? Very few (if any) make huge amounts money, are on Sportscenter, and all the lights and glamour that other athletes live. Cut them some slack, he's an elite runner (globally) and has a great chance and at doing some damage in China

Yes Anonymous Coward, plenty of people have been talking trash about Symmonds. If you read the posts following his interviews and races there are always people who seem to find some negative. After this interview it's clear Symmonds is a credit to the sport and very deserving of his success.

How can anybody not wish the best for this guy. He's smart, funny, confident, amazingly talented and he seems like a regular guy. It's great to see all these great personalities shine through in the interviews. They do our sport proud. Kudos once again to Mark and Flotrack. Great interview!
