Had the chance to talk with Nick at the Boston Indoor Games. He said he's been trying a 10 cycle this year where he has 5 harder runs and his easy days in between are run super slow. He said it was as slow as 8 or 9 minute pace. He said he does do like 10 miles total or something. He was inspired by watchingthe Kenyans run super slow at European meets.

Willis can obviously run as slow as he wants during easy runs, it seems to work for him as well as other world class runners.

What pace was he running there? Looks like 7:30 pace... Does he really run that slow!

Nick Willis EZ Run

This run was obviously not done in the summer, but rather the cold Michigan winter. Nick Willis talks about what makes the Olympics than other big meets such as the World Championships. Nick has qualified for the 2008 Olympic 1500 Final in Beijing.
