Sean worked his ASS off for 9 YEARS for this sport. Anyone who knows Sean knows just how much he put into his dream. Absolutely everything, took it so seriously and put everything else on hold. Its heartbreaking he missed the trials, but at least we got to see a hilarious race and an awesome farewell to a fantastic career.

Congratulations on a long and successful career Sean.

Whoever had something negative to say about Sean O'brien take your shoes off and kick rocks. The guy is a class act. I've known Sean for almost 10 years now. Roomed with him in college at A.U. and never once have I seen him show off. He deserved that moment and I'm glad he took that time to enjoy what he's been doing. Good for you Sean give me a call when you get back to the states.

O'Brien was very honest with the fact that he purposely entered a slow heat. He made that very clear . He wanted go out with a win and have fun with no pressure. Hence the goofing around pumping his fists etc. Nothing wrong with that. lighten up people.

He is very Angry. people don't need to scream to be angry. This race made him look bad.

If Sean O'Brien were angry you would know it! Ask anyone that knows him! He took his running career very seriously, the fact that he finally got a chance to go out and run a race and goof around and have fun shows that he is moving on.

Very unprofessional way to go out. You could guess he is very angry inside by the way he is acting.
