the first words to watching this video was "herd of stallions!". great video, and quite inspiring. made me rethink my workouts! also, after reading carlson's blog, as well as listening to his interview on "final sprint," i've become a fan! the guy is hilarious! still laughing at some of the little vignettes!

You are totally wrong. Greg is an amazing coach who cares greatly about his athletes. He is always there for them and is totally committed to making sure they are sound in both body and mind. Sorry you feel the need to make up negative rumors.

greg is a tough coach who has a zero tolerance towards his athletes.Its a total life of running with no let up! If you don't perform your out- simple as that! no other life except running!

Check out a band called polarkreis 18, they are German but perform in English. There music is great to run to and would be excellent for background music!!

Check them out anyway, they're no.1 in Germany.

Everyone was expecting a team Indiana Elite W/W and we got a McMillan Elite W/W which a lot of people were asking for. Awesome video guys.

It's nice to see a workout at altitude.
A change in music would be nice. I mean, the choices have been okay so far, but every song's the same genre. Mix it up some.

also, it looked as tho matt clark from clemson was falling off pretty early and didn't see him after the first couple reps. i guess he isn't used to altitude yet. yea AC burrell did look stout, staying up there with the likes of fagan.

Going along with 'Dear Lol', you seem to forgot who Andrew Lemoncello is... 2006 NCAA champs, 2nd place steeplechase, 2008 Olympian for Great Britain... German has a few years before they can be considered equals.

you say german could smoke them, i doubt all of them... remember this was at 7,300 ft. when ok st. did their mile repeats it wasn't at altitude, still a good session. german will be better than these guys at the rate he's going, but not right now. fagan would wipe the floor with him

McMillan Elite, a post-collegiate elite training group, is preparing for the USATF Club Cross Country Championships this weekend (Dec 13th) in Spokane, WA. This workout was filmed in scenic Flagstaff, AZ and its their marker workout for the group. Workout: 5x1.1 miles
