What's up with the way these videos play lately? In the past, you used to be able to move the videos forward and backward.

well the girls must be used to such workouts, as obviously it didn't impact their friday race, as they won Notre Dame. Karen Harvey knows what she is doing, they got third last year at NCAA, can't wait to see what a year spent with the girls will take them! Good luck!

Hannah England has gone pro as well.

I think Urwsh isn't critizing the workout...more responding to Annonymous Coward's comment that the workout seemed too difficult just a few days before a race. Though I don't know that doing a this workout on a Monday prior to a Friday race is really all that unusual.

Urwsh- I'd agree, but doing speed workouts are necessary. Where does anyone draw the line between speedwork and racing? Coach coaches for a reason, he/she knows what they are doing. most of the time ;)

pretty sure it was Mark Buckingham in with the first girls group.
Hannah England is back in England, but not as a pro - just gone back to her English University to finish her degree.

Out Of It   October 8, 2008 at 10:17pm
Watching this shows me my limitations.....as of now, I'm not in shape like these
focused women. Karen really looks like she is just as fit or "fitter" than her team.
That, along with her confidence boosting approach to coaching, must be etched in the minds of the entire team.

ya, i'm curious about the recovery as well. also curious about karen's reasons for increasing the recovery as the pace gets faster. seems like changing two variables at once.

not a real tough workout but one that appears to be maybe more difficult then should be just a few days before a race
