I've run in high level college meets far less organized than this meet.
While I agree that it would be nice to have more teams here, the course was well - staffed and the results were posted quite quickly. If you are complaining because there wasn't enough high end competition, well, to my knowledge there were several all - stater's at this meet. The younger kids liked the challenge. Ultimately, that's what we do this for, the preservation of this sport and the well being of the next generation.

I thought things went well and the MAJORITY of people seemed to have fun.

All races appeared to either started right on time or within a couple of minutes. Individual awards given in the chute - team awards on a large stage upon conclucion of the 800m race.
If you were cold - and didn't like snow - then you probably didn't enjoy the day. Be specific in your criticisms and maybe someone could address those & make improvements. Just don't make blanket statements without some sort of backup.
Maybe they'll serve up more sun and better temps next year. Keep runnin'.

Like said below the meet is just finding its legs. Once this becomes established as a premier national race, which just takes time, it will be a great outlet for young club runners around the country. It's also really hard to draw in the older age groups right now as this was being put up against NXN and Footlocker. This meet will definitely gain renown as time passes, it seems to have very dedicated and motivated directors as well as competitors.

It was cold, windy, and snow. It was only the 2nd year for this national meet. We just need more numbers.
