yeah this is very true. The cold climate makes it sorta unfair. Saugus does hold records on extremely hilly courses like Mt. Sac. I would like to see Manlius run Mt. Sac when its 103 degrees and see how well they do...but either way, it was a wonderful race. Congrats to Manlius for a big win.

Hello people! why do you think they run footlocker in a warm place (SoCal, Florida). It gives everyone a fair shot on a given day, not just the people who run in cold, muddy, slush on a daily basis. Hills try Mt. Sac, enough said!

What they failed to mention is that Newton and Sudbury are in the same conference/league, so they had a dual meet featuring the top 2 teams in the region. Not many conferences can boast that.

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE QUEENSBURY GIRLS (Adircondack XC). Great race! cant wait for next year.

Get over yourself. This is what XC is. They run it the West time zone. If they want to see the rest of the country truely be embarassed and the NE dominate they would run it in the NE in Dec w/ a hill on the course.

Northeast, Northeast, blah, blah, blah! Have a race in a warmer place and see how the NE does. The advantage is so skewed towards cool climate runners it's not even funny. Glad they din't have to run in the mud though that stuff is nasty.

Overall, it's AWESOME to see a race from start to finish without commercials three times in the middle (take notes NBC). We actually got to see the racing, the lead changes, the team results in real time. THANK YOU FLOTRACK! Can you start a network or something?

Good races today. Noticed only 2nd Team for those Saugus girls, with only their top girl making the top 50. I thought they were being held up as a sure thing for the win, but maybe this wasn't the case.
Either way, 70mpw for girls this age is excessive and unneccessary in my opionion, especially when they are lacking enough pace to even get them into the top 50.
