Or maybe the coaches don't want to embarass themselves when the NCAA determines the guy is a 21 year old freshman, and then everyone knows he cheated in high school. Or maybe it's something else...(SAT scores a problem, hmmm).

haha
I thought it was crazy that he did not have any schools at all. I mean if you are one of the top recruits you would have a couple in mind..... maybe that's just me.

Disregarding the age issue and his being from ethiopia he still won a weak year of footlocker with no real studs. He would have been dominated by last years field. To say he will win ncaa's anytime soon is a joke. The big 4(Derrick, Fernandez, Puskedra, and Lowe) will be what people are talking about in the ncaa over the next 4 years.

why should i "beleave"(btw it is believe) he is 18? Is it because he says he is?
Or because he raced multiple road races as a 20 year old?

BTW: LEARN HOW TO SPELL, YOU "obveosly" sound "ignant"

im pretty sure ethiopia is on their own calender so thats where the mix up with his age came into play. this happens all the time with foreign athletes not just in running.
